This basement had cracks in the walls, windows, and floors, which were leaking water. We installed our premier interior waterproofing product, WaterGuard, all along the perimeter of the basement. We also installed BrightWall panels along the walls, which are able to lead the water coming from the cracks to the WaterGuard system. They have a professional look and contain all non-bio material, which means mold can't ever grow on them. We also installed SmartJacks to hold up some floor beams, which were bending because of their age and rot. We also installed a Super Sump sump pump to send water away from the home at a very strong rate.
This customer was interested in insulation and mold control. After we waterproofed the basement, we began to insulate by spraying foam on the band boards and installing Foamax insulation wall panels. The wall panels will help guide water to the system and they will never grow mold due to their inorganic nature.
This home had a wall that had a long horizontal crack from a shifting foundation. We installed helical piers to seal the crack back together and to stop the foundation from shifting again.
A SmartJack was used to support a floor that was unlevel, sagging, and creaking. The SmartJack has an adjustable screw that is used to raise the floor to the correct position.
This crawlspace's main beam was being held up by a pile of rocks. Of course, this is unsustainable, and we needed to implement SmartJacks to help support the foundation.
