This sunken and uneven concrete slab had become a nuisance to the homeowners. Located right outside of their back door, this was where their kids, dogs, and friends frequented. You see, because the slab had sunked so far, dirt, leaves, and other debris easily gathered on top of the stoop. If the homeowner did not sweep the slab everyday, their kids would be sure to track all of that debris into their home. We made sure that this slab would no longer be a magnet for leaves by raising it 3-4 inches with our foam jacking methods. Now, the homeowners don't have to worry about sweeping every day.
Because this homeowners porch slab was settling into the soil in Lynchburg, OH, many gaps started to appear in the brick around their beautiful front door. We raised the slab with our PolyLevel foam in order to close these gaps. We highlighted the gaps in the before picture to better help display just how far we were able to raise the slab. The project only took a few hours, and the foam cured very quickly, which allowed the homeowners access to their new front porch in a very short amount of time.
Concrete surrounding a pool is often susceptible to cracking for many reasons. For one, the soil under the concrete can go through exaggerated changes in moisture content due to the proximity to a large body of water. Also, the weight of the water in the pool can be quick to expose faulty engineering and installation from the team who installed the concrete slabs. Either way, we can fix your concrete relatively easily through a process called slab jacking. Similar to mud jacking, where mud is injected into the slabs in order to get them stable and level, we instead use a foam polyurethane mix. This mix is lighter, cleaner, and less invasive than the mud mix. In one day, we were able to lift, level, stabilize, and seal this concrete, which will help extend this concretes lifetime exponentially.
This driveway was shifting and causing the concrete slabs to crack and separate from one another. After we used PolyLevel foam and sealant to reconnect them, the driveway was back to looking good.
We used our Polylevel injections to raise concrete slabs that had settled over time. The foam was injected under the concrete slabs, which filled the voids under the slabs and lifted them to a proper grade above the surrounding soil. We also sealed the gaps between the slabs after everything was leveled.
