This house required a couple of piers on the corner of their garage because the foundation was settling on that corner away from the rest of the garage.
When we installed this waterproofing system for this homeowner, (a full interior perimeter drainage system & a TripleSafe sump pump) we also added in a Flood Ring around the water heater. That way, if any plumbing leaks occur for this water heater, (which we see a lot) the water will drain straight to the TripleSafe sump pump. If you are getting a full waterproofing system, it is definitely worth it to take the extra cautionary step of making sure the water heater is covered as well.
We replaced this home owners existing sump pump with our state of the art TripleSafe sump pump.
Here is what separates the TripleSafe from the old pump:
-Three total pumps, (one battery backed)
-Two discharge lines
-Air-tight lid
-Water alarm
-Quieter
-Stronger
This home was having foundation issues as well as waterproofing issues. We placed piers in the basement to lift and stabilize the footers. We also placed PowerBraces on the walls that were moving horizontally to stabilize them. After we fixed the foundation problems, we aimed to waterproof. We installed WaterGuard, a TripleSafe sump pump, a discharge line equipped with IceGuard. After eveything was installed, the customer is assured they won't have to worry about foundation or waterproof issues any longer.
We raised this concrete slab using the Polylevel injection system, and we sealed the joints with NexusPro joint sealant.
