Sump Pumps Before & After Photos

This homeowner gave us a call because they suspected their existing sump pump was failing. They noticed it wasn't running as often as it normally should, and when they looked under the lid, the water line was above the activating switch. We replaced their old sump pump for them with our SuperSump sump pump. We also attached our UltraSump 4 battery backup system to the sump pump. The UltraSump pump goes fits in the sump liner, and is powered by a battery, (which is off to the right of the "after" picture). The UltraSump will turn on in case the main pump fails, or the power goes out. This homeowner won't have to worry about pump failures any longer thanks to the Basement Systems technologies. 

This homeowner needed a new waterproofing system along their back wall after their footer drains clogged and their sump pump became outdated. We installed our interior WaterGuard subfloor drains and BriteWall panels to manage water along the wall, then replaced the old sump pump. The previous system had an open croc pit that let moisture spread throughout the basement, creating musty odors, and it operated unpredictably and loudly. We upgraded to our TripleSafe sump pump, which is quiet, has an airtight lid, and a reliable switch to conserve energy. The system includes three pumps, including a battery backup, for maximum reliability. After the installation, the homeowner was relieved knowing their basement is protected and that they can easily upgrade to a full system in the future if needed.

In Okeana, OH, the homeowners were having trouble with water collecting in their basement from exterior French drains. During heavy rains, they worried about water overwhelming their sump pit and didn’t feel confident in their existing setup, (not pictured). We installed a SuperSump system with an UltraSump battery backup to give them reliable protection, even during power outages. Since the exterior French drains were already carrying water to the pit, no extra drainage was needed. The result is a dependable waterproofing system that keeps their basement dry and worry-free.

This homeowner in Walton, KY, was having trouble with their current waterproofing system. When replacing their system, we made sure to give their sump pump an upgrade as well. Seen in the after picture is our TripleSafe sump pump, our most secure system. It comes with three different pumps, including a battery backed one that will provide power to the system in case of power failure. Our SuperSump Plus has our biggest sump basin with an airtight lid, an alarm system, and an airtight floor drain. It also contains a 1/3 HP Zoeller pump. You may also notice that we wrapped the foundation wall with our vapor barrier, which will help channel wall leaks down into the subfloor drainage system, which is concealed underneath the fresh concrete. The homeowner was happy to know this part of their basement is safe from water damage.
