This part of the sidewalk leading up to the front porch had sunk a good three to four inches into the ground, which was a growing nuisance for the homeowners. This made things like carrying groceries into the home much more dangerous than before. The slab was also directing rain water down underneath the gap between the sidewalk and the front porch. By raising the sidewalk with our foam jacking services, we were able to eliminate both of the aforementioned problems. The sidewalk also looks a lot better, and is prevented from sinking any time soon.
We used our expansive foam called PolyLevel to raise some concrete slabs in Greenville, Ohio. The old slabs would often collect mulch and soil, making it a hassle for the homeowner. We raised it to be an inch or two higher than the grade of the mulch.
This homeowner called us regarding a porch that was sinking. We used PolyLevel injections to resolve the problems for the homeowner. PolyLevel Foam is able to raise concrete slabs on sidewalks, driveways, and porches. Small holes are drilled into the concrete, and then the PolyLevel foam is injected under the concrete to be raised. The PolyLevel Foam fills the voids underneath the concrete slab and raises it up. The hole that was drilled into the concrete was patched, and the porch will be ready to walk on again in about 15 minutes. Note how the gap is closed between the siding on the home and then concrete slab.
This homes front porch and sidewalk was sinking further than the average of what we normally see. PolyLevel foam was sprayed under the concrete to rise it back to normality.
This driveway in Hamilton, OH was uneven because the soil sitting underneath the concrete was shifting. The uneven driveway had multiple gaps and cracks in it, creating multiple safety hazards. We were able to lift and seal the driveway with our foam jacking methods, resulting in a driveway without tripping hazards. Our foam jacking system requires us to drill multiple pea sized holes in the concrete, then we inject foam through them. We then seal all the gaps and holes in the concrete with our sealer, resulting in a for sure way to make your concrete last longer.
