This big basement was having waterproofing issues. You can see the evidence of it from the stained walls and floors in the before picture. It also smelled musty and the floor would sometimes collect pools of water. We fixed these issues with our interior perimeter waterproofing system. First, we dug trenches around the interior perimeter of the basement, then we drilled weeping holes into the foundation walls to relieve the hydrostatic pressure. We then placed gravel into the trenches, then our patented WaterGuard drains into the gravel. We grade the drains at an ever so slight angle towards the sump and seal them together to make sure the water drains smoothly. We then cover the trenches with fresh concrete to hide the drains. We then installed our TripleSafe sump pump with an UltraSump 4 battery back up. Lastly, we installed BrightWall panels to help drain moisture that seeps through the concrete. The walls also look bright and clean as the name implies.
