This crawl space in Greenville, OH, was relying on blue insulation foam boards to keep the space warm in the winter. These boards were not effective, as the homeowner noted to us that the floors in their family room above their crawl space were very cold in the winter. On top of that, the homeowner noted that their family room often smelled musty in the summer, when moisture peaks in the space. We ended up encapsulating the crawl space using our SilverGlo insulation panels along the walls, our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the floor, our foam rim joist insulation, and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Our SilverGlo panels have a higher rated insulation value than the foam boards due to their reflective radiant barrier, which helps reflect heat back into the space. The homeowner was very happy with the outcome, and they look forward to saving money on energy costs throughout all seasons of the year.

This part of the sidewalk leading up to the front porch had sunk a good three to four inches into the ground, which was a growing nuisance for the homeowners. This made things like carrying groceries into the home much more dangerous than before. The slab was also directing rain water down underneath the gap between the sidewalk and the front porch. By raising the sidewalk with our foam jacking services, we were able to eliminate both of the aforementioned problems. The sidewalk also looks a lot better, and is prevented from sinking any time soon.

Our crew removed the outdated supports and replaced them with our PowerBrace system, which uses heavy-duty steel beams anchored to the floor and joists to permanently stabilize and to potentially straighten the wall out over time. You may also noticed we wrapped the wall with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, giving the basement a clean, bright appearance while sealing out moisture behind the bracing system. What was once a failing, visibly bowed wall is now straight, secure, and protected with a modern system built to last.
