We completed a concrete leveling project in Cincinnati, OH, where the step and sidewalk leading to the front door had sunk over time. This load-bearing wall in Morning View, KY, was deflecting inwards due to external pressure pushing inwards on the foundation over time. This pressure had caused the wall to crack diagonally from the corner. We braced the wall with our PowerBraces to stabilize the wall. Our PowerBraces are made of galvanized steel to prevent rusting, and they have specially designed brackets that allows them to be attached to the floor joists in the ceiling without damaging them. The homeowner was relieved to know that this system will keep their wall safe and sound from the effects of external forces in the soil surrounding the wall.
