Sump Pumps Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump installed to resolve water intrusion in Cincinnati, OH

A Cincinnati homeowner was having problems with water seeping into the basement.  The homeowner met with Austin, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, along with an UltraSump Battery Back-up System is installed to resolve this problem for the homeowner.  WaterGuard is our patented non-clogging piping system that is installed into the floor along the foundation wall.   It will collect the water that is seeping into the basement and will drain it into the sump pump system.  This system keeps the basement dry and makes the basement a usable space for storage or extra living area without the inconvenience of dealing with water intrusion. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller cast iron pump.  It also includes the WaterWatch Alarm, a SuperLiner, and a special Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm alerts the homeowner to a problem with the system, such as a pump or power failure.  The SuperLiner is a rugged, heavy-duty liner with 96 holes throughout to allow water to also drain in from under the floor.  The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps out bugs and odors, quiets the pump and also has an airtight floor drain.  The Airtight Floor Drain allows water from a plumbing leak to drain down into the liner through the floor drain but it will not let the water come back up through the drain into the basement.   The UltraSump Battery Back-up System will automatically turn on during pump or power failure and run on battery power.  It comes with its own power pack and charging station and gives the homeowner peace of mind that they are protected even when the electricity goes out.   The homeowner will now be able to enjoy the basement without concerns of water intrusion.
