This customer was frustrated with their driveway because whenever they pulled out of their garage, they would feel the slight bumps in their driveway, making their commute to work more aggravating than it needed to be. We were able to help them by sealing all slabs of their driveway concrete back together, all on the same plane. No longer could the customer get mad at their "stupid" driveway in the mornings.

Do you have a damp or moldy crawl space in need of repairs or a crawl space encapsulation system? The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati can fix your crawl space moisture damage by installing a comprehensive crawl space encapsulation system complete with a vapor barrier, thermal insulation, a crawl space dehumidifier, and more. Just because your crawl space stays out of sight doesn't mean its condition can't have a serious impact on the rest of your home; in reality, your crawl space is an essential part of an interconnected system that works to keep your home comfortable, safe, and stable. If you've been paying high utility bills and noticing cold floors in your home, your vented crawl space could be the issue. If a crawl space lacks proper insulation, cold air and drafts can seep up into the rooms above and quickly ruin the comfort of your home.
Our comprehensive crawl space encapsulation system can fix all of these problems and more. We also offer crawl space structural repairs if you've been noticing sagging floors above your crawl space. Using crawl space support jacks, we will stabilize and reinforce the space to fully support the weight it needs to hold up. We provide both residential and commercial foundation repair services throughout the Middletown area. No matter how old or new your foundation may be, foundation settlement and sinking can occur at any time due to frost, expansive soils, or other natural forces. Certain kinds of soil will expand during periods of high moisture and then shrink when that moisture dries up, leaving gaps between the soil and your foundation. These change in soil volume can cause your foundation to shift and crack. The good news is, a professional foundation repair contractor like The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati can stabilize and reinforce your foundation without the need for a foundation replacement or extensive reconstruction project.
We also provide PolyLevel® concrete leveling and lifting that will restore your cracked or uneven concrete surfaces on your driveway, sidewalk, walkways, or patio.
When you need basement leak repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space repair, basement or crawl space insulation, or foundation repair services, The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati is the home improvement company you can trust for excellent service and lasting results. A Middletown, Ohio homeowner was noticing some water seeping into the basement from under the stairs so they called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to find a solution to this problem. The homeowner met with Jeff, a Certified Inspector. Jeff recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is installed along the foundation wall. The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a sub-floor piping system that will intercept the water that seeps into the basement. The water will be drained into a sump pump system, such as the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp pump and includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and an Airtight Lid.
Now when the water along this wall seeps into the basement, it will be drained into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement.
A homeowner in Middletown was having problems with cracking and settling in the bedroom walls. They had installed new doors when they had moved there in 1984 and they were now setting and they were concerned that one of the walls was sinking. They called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for a solution to this problem.
The homeowner met with one of our certified inspectors who recommended Helical Piers to be installed. Helical Piers are steel piers that are mechanically screwed into the soil to an appropriate depth. A steel foundation bracket is connected to the pier and attached to the footing of the foundation. The weight of the foundation is now transferred to the helical pier and will permanently stabilize your foundation. The Helical Pier may be able to lift the home back to a level position. The dirt removed during install will be placed back on top of the Helical Pier making it unseen. Nobody will be able to tell that you have had these installed, but the homeowner will have the security of knowing they are there and the foundation is now safe from settling.
