The foam cures over the course of a day leaving a powerful and lightweight foundation beneath the slab. PolyLEVEL is the preferred method over traditional forma of mudjacking or slab jacking.
When the owners of a home in Camden, Ohio noticed patches of water on their basement floor, they were unsure of where it was coming from. Every month it seemed to get worse and worse until finally, they knew it was time to get professionals involved. They called us to come to examine the issue after heavy rain left some of their basement fixtures damaged.
When our inspector arrived, he determined that the issue was being caused by leaking basement wall cracks. These cracks had previously been filled with epoxy injections, but over time these had worn down and become dislocated. We sealed these cracks with FlexiSpan - a revolutionary solution to wall cracks that is clean, permanent, and effective.
A homeowner in Camden had a house that was at least a hundred years old that had a bowing wall in the basement. The foundation was made of stone and block walls. He called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for a solution to this problem. He met with our Certified Inspector, Chris, who recommended that the Patented PowerBrace System be installed to stabilize the wall.
The PowerBrace System is used to immediately stabilize foundation walls and over time have the potential to straighten the wall. The PowerBrace System's zinc-plated steel beams are installed tightly against the basement wall with brackets that are secured to the basement floor and floor joists. With these installed, the homeowner will not have to worry about further movement of the wall.
Joanne E. was having problems with water seeping in through the floors and at the cove in her partially finished basement. She contacted The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
Our inspector, Chris, went to inspect the basement and discovered there was no sump pump installed. He recommended a SuperSump system with cast iron pump, liner, airtight lid with airtight floor drain. A CleanPump stand, which raises the sump from the bottom of the liner to keep andy sediment away from the pump. A WaterWatch alarm system, which will sound if the water has risen to a point where the sump should have turned on and an UltraSump battery back up system, which would turn on in times of power outages or a sump pump failure.
A WaterGuard Sub-floor drainage system along with a WaterGuard Port for access to the system, IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge lines and a LawnScape outlet at the end of the discharge line. He also recommended CleanSpace drainage matting under CleanSpace liner for the crawlspace area.
Customers were thrilled with the outstanding work performed in a timely manner, and extremely impressed that the clean up crew left nothing for the customers to do.
