A Bethel, Ohio homeowner was having problems with water seeping into a crawl space area of their home. We installed CleanSpace Encapsulation System, along with SilverGlo Insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that is attached with special spikes and fasteners to the floor and walls of the crawl space. CleanSpace Liner creates a barrier between the ground and the inside of your crawl space. It is mold and moisture proof and really brightens up the crawl space. SilverGlo Insulation is a rigid foam insulation infused with graphite to reflect heat back into the crawl space keeping your floors warmer in the winter. A SaniDry Sedona will keep the Humidity low in the crawl space. The other product that the customer could have opted to have installed would be the SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System. This is specially made for crawl spaces and features a WaterWatch Alarm that will sound an alarm to alert the homeowner if there would be a plumbing leak, pump failure or a power outage. There's not a lot of homeowners who venture into the crawl space that often so this would be a great feature to have in your crawl space.
