Floor Joist Connection Systems
The PowerBraces and CarbonArmor straps are secured to the floor/rim joists to help secure the top of the walls. This also helps prevent damage to the floor joists. Since the PowerBraces run perpendicular to the floor joists, we use a special bracket to help spread the weight of the wall evenly across them. The CarbonArmor comes with a ArmorLock system that helps secure the top of the carbon strap to the rim joist, ensuring the full scope of the wall is locked in.

Stair-Step Crack
When a block wall moves inward, the corners of the wall will crack in a stair-like pattern. This picture was taken before-hand.

Bowed Wall Repair
In this photo, you can see three different CarbonArmor straps and a PowerBrace beam to the right. Both systems ensure wall stabilization.

Stabilized Foundation
To the right of the picture, you can see a large horizontal crack in the block wall. These large cracks appear in block walls right where the frost line is in the soil outside the home, where the most pressure is exerted into the basement. We recommended PowerBraces for this part of the wall where it had moved significantly.

Cracked Wall
Here is another example of a block wall cracking in a stair-step pattern near the corners of the wall. This picture was taken before-hand.

Minimally Invasive System
CarbonArmor may be preferred to the PowerBraces when there are many obstacles in the way. The CarbonArmor is a lot thinner than the PowerBraces, and they can be installed behind many different types of obstacles.
