This home was experiencing some settling issues, and the homeowner wanted a permanent fix. They gave us a call for a free proposal, and our Inspector suggested that we underpin their foundation with thirteen helical piers to fix the problem. The homeowner enjoyed how thorough our quote was, and so they agreed to the job. After excavating around the home and exposing the footers, we then began to screw the piers down into load-bearing soil. After screwing them down, we then attached the piers to the footing of the home using brackets. This process effectively transferred the weight of the home to load-bearing soil. We then lifted the home using hydraulics, which helped close a lot of the cracks and gaps in the home. We then backfilled the trenches and took points for reference.
