A homeowner in Owensville, Ohio, was noticing that a corner of the house was starting to settle.  Over time, the ground under the home can change due to freeze-thaw cycles and changes in moisture.  This can cause the soil to become unstable and the foundation to sink.  We installed the Helical Pier System to resolve this problem for the homeowner.  A Helical Pier is mechanically screwed into the ground until it reaches competent soil.  A Bracket is attached to the pier and the foundation footer.  This transfers the weight of the house to the pier.  This immediately stabilizes the foundation and protects it from further movement.
