Foundation Services Photo Album: SmartJacks used to support a sagging floor in Bradford, OH

A 1920s home in Bradford, Ohio was experiencing some cracking and sagging floors and called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for help to resolve this problem.  The homeowner met with Rogers, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that SmartJacks and a supplemental beam be installed to resolve this problem.  SmartJacks are steel piers that are cut to size and installed under a sagging floor.  The adjustable screw is used to jack the floors up to a level position.  The floors will be immediately stabilized and can be readjusted in the future if needed.
