The Helical Pier System is used to stabilize a foundation that has settled immediately.  The Helical Pier is mechanically screwed into the ground until it reaches competent soil.  A bracket will be attached to the helical pier and to the foundation footer.  This transfers the weight of the foundation to the pier and into the competent soil.  This immediately stabilizes the foundation.  An attempt can be made to lift the foundation but is not guaranteed.  For more information on how the Helical Pier System works, schedule an appointment with a Certified Inspector.
