We installed SmartJack XT Floor Supports for a customer in Cincinnati, Ohio. A SmartJack is installed into a structural stone compacted into the floor. A steel pier is cut to size and installed and the adjust to the correct position. This can be adjusted in the future if needed.
The homeowner also had a SaniDry Sedona installed. The SaniDry is used to dry and filter the air in the home. Too much humidity in the basement can cause musty odors, encourage mold growth, and make the environment uncomfortable. The special filters in the SaniDry remove mold spores, dust mite droppings and other particulates in the air. The SaniDry has a continuous drain so that there are no buckets to have to empty.
Now the floors have the support that they need no more worries about sagging or unlevel floors. The SaniDry Sedona will keep the humidity low in the basement which will help to make the whole home more comfortable, healthier and no worries of musty odors coming from the basement.
