Foundation Repair Products Photo Album: Water seeping through cracks in the foundation in Cincinnati, OH
A Cincinnati homeowner was having problems with water seeping through some cracks in a poured foundation basement. The homeowner met with Jeff, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, BrightWall Paneling System, and PowerBraces are installed to resolve the problems the homeowner was having in the basement.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system installed along the foundation walls to intercept water that is seeping into the basement. The water is drained into a sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement.
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is the system that Jeff recommended for this homeowner. The SuperSump has a 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump, The WaterWatch Alarm that will sound an alarm if there is a problem with the system due to a primary pump or power failure. The SuperLiner is a rugged polyethylene liner that will not cave in or crack. The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps out insects and odors, quiets the pump, and keeps things from falling into the liner.
BrightWall Paneling System is 4x8 sheets of plastic paneling that not only covers the walls but drains wall leaks down into the WaterGuard. The BrightWall Panels really brighten up the basement and give it a semi-finished look.
PowerBraces are steel I-Beams that are secured tight against your basement wall with brackets anchored to your basement floor and floor joists. The PowerBrace is designed to be tightened over time to potentially reverse wall failure without having to dig up your landscaping.
