Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation Company in Williamsburg, Ohio
This Williamsburg crawl space underwent a comprehensive upgrade to address moisture, energy efficiency, and accessibility concerns. We installed the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a 20-mil thick, 7-layer polyethylene liner, to seal out ground moisture and improve air quality. To regulate humidity and prevent mold growth, we added the SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier, capable of removing up to 100 pints of water per day and filtering airborne particles.
For improved insulation, SilverGlo™ panels were affixed to the walls, providing an R-11 insulation value with a radiant heat barrier, enhancing energy efficiency. Access was upgraded with The Turtl™ crawl space door, a durable, maintenance-free entry system that protects against moisture and pests. Additionally, a SuperSump® system with an UltraSump® battery backup was installed to ensure reliable water evacuation, even during power outages.
The result is a clean, dry, and energy-efficient crawl space that contributes to the overall health and comfort of the home.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
Our vapor barrier is taped at the seams, around the columns, and up the walls. CleanSpace is very thick and durable, and will keep moisture out.
Sump Pump
We installed our SuperSump with an UltraSump battery backup system. This sump will help handle the large amounts of groundwater the crawl space receives.
Open Sump Pit
This is the sump pump in the crawl space before we replaced it. It didn't have a lid, which allowed the pit to leak moisture back into the air.
Turtl Door
The turtl door makes for an easy access pathway into the crawl space. It can also be locked, and is very durable.
Dehumidifier Specs
These specs have been tested over many years of scientific research. A lot of thought went into the design of the worlds most efficient dehumidifier. You won't find these specs in any big box store.
