Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Egress Window Installed in Xenia, Ohio

The owners of this home in Xenia, Ohio wanted to have an egress window installed in their basement. They have never had a window for the basement before, and wanted an attractive, safe way to exit their basement in the event of an emergency. We dug out a hole next to their home's foundation and installed an egress window, a RockWell window well, and a cover for the well.

Excavation

Our team dug this trench next to the home's foundation so that we could install the egress window and RockWell window well. The saw you see to the left is how we get precise cuts in the concrete.

This egress window is ready to bring natural light into the basement, as well as provide an escape route in the event of an emergency.

This window well is designed to mimic natural stone - providing a lovely view through the egress window while still providing a means of escape in the event of an emergency.
