Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: CleanSpace Encapsulation Project in Goshen, OH

We installed a SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System, a SaniDry Sedona, SmartJack Floor Support System, and CleanSpace Encapsulation System. The SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System is made especially for crawl spaces.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm that will sound if there is a pump or power failure.  It has an Airtight Lid to keep out insects and keep things from falling into the pump's liner.  It also has an Airtight Floor Drain that will allow water from a plumbing leak to drain into the liner to be pumped out of the crawl space.   A SaniDry Sedona is used to dry and filter the air.  Keeping the humidity low in the crawl space is important to discourage mold, musty odors and to keep the living space comfortable.  The special filters on the SaniDry filter out mold spores, dust mite droppings and other particles from the air.  The SaniDry keeps your home healthier and more comfortable.  The crawl space is a part of the home, so whatever is in the crawl space is also in the living space. The SmartJack is used to support the flooring system above the crawl space that is creaking or sagging.  SmartJack Floor Support is a steel pier that is set into a structural stone that has been compacted into the floor of the crawl space.  It is cut to size and placed under the floor that needs to be supported.  The SmartJack has an adjustable screw that is used to jack up the floor to the correct position.   The CleanSpace Liner is attached to the floors and walls of the crawl space.  This encapsulates the crawl space and provides a moisture-proof barrier between the ground and the home.  The Clean Space Liner is a plastic liner, similar to a pool liner.  The bright white color really brightens up the crawl space making it easier to access and also helps to keep the crawl space dry.
