Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation in New Albany, IN

We encapsulated a crawl space for a homeowner in New Albany, Indiana.  The homeowner met with Paul, a Certified Inspector, who recommended CleanSpace Encapsulation System with CleanSpace Drainage Matting, CleanSpace Vent Covers, a SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System along with an UltraSump Battery Back-up System, SilverGlo Crawl Space Insulation, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, and a Turtl Crawl Space Access System. The CleanSpace liner is a 20-mil-thick liner, similar to a pool liner, that is installed on the floor and walls of the crawl space.  The CleanSpace Drainage Matting has dimples throughout the matting to provide a channel for water that seeps under the matting to flow into the drainage system, such as the SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System.   The SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System has a smart feature that if water from a plumbing leak fills a special pocket on the lid of the drainage system it will sound an alarm alerting the homeowner to a problem.  That is a really helpful feature to have since most homeowners do no venture into the crawl space often and may not realize there is a problem until finding a high water bill!  The UltraSump Battery Back-up will automatically start if there is a primary pump or power failure. SilverGlo Crawl Space Insulation is expanded polystyrene insulation with graphite infused into it.  Having the crawl space properly insulated will also help save on heating costs. SaniDry Sedona is used to filter and dry the air in the crawl space.  This prevents mold growth and humidity creating a more comfortable and healthier environment not only in the crawl space but in the living area also. The Turtl Crawl Space Access System is made from rigid plastic so it will never rot, rust, or need to be painted.  The Turtl offers a sturdy well giving you easy access to the crawl space and the airtight seal keeps rain and debris from entering the crawl space.
