Challenge
This house had some beautiful concrete work for their driveway and sidewalks that the customer did not want to crack because of the sinking soil beneath it. This driveway was positioned at the top of a hill, which can lead to soil washing out from under it, a problem we commonly see. This customer understood that our PolyLevel foam would stop the soil from washing away from under it and thus, saving the driveway from cracking down the road.
Solution
When we lift concrete with our PolyLevel foam, we inject tiny holes into different parts of the driveway using very calculated formulas as to not crack any parts of the concrete while raising. The process is very fast and usually done in a day, barring any heavy rain or frozen grounds. We also sealed all the cracks on this driveway to keep dirt, debris, and water from entering the cracks and causing the concrete to deteriorate. We also seal up the holes used to inject the foam. The driveway is once again usable almost immediately after the job barring any unconventional issues.
