Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing System Installed in Dayton, Ohio

This musty basement in Dayton, OH, was due for an upgrade. The homeowners grew increasingly tired of musty smells coming from their basements, and they also had visions of transforming their basement into a brand new space. We honored their wishes by making sure we installed a full-proof system that will keep their basement dry, clean, and protected from water. We fitted our WaterGuard drains under the floor around the perimeter of the basement to channel built up water into the TripleSafe sump pump system. We also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the basement dry as can be. To top it all off, we wrapped the walls in our CleanSpace vapor barrier to help channel wall leaks down into the subfloor drainage system. These walls will help the homeowners transform this space into whatever they please. When it was all said and done, we finished the job in 18 hours over the course of two days.

Sump Pump System

Our crew configured the discharge so that it would run under the concrete instead. Our TripleSafe sump pump comes with three different pumps, including a battery backed one. The battery backup system will turn on in the case of power outage.

A Complete Waterproofing System

Our subfloor drains concealed under the floor contain little wall flanges that poke out from the floor ever so slightly against the wall. When we tuck our CleanSpace vapor barrier into these flanges, the vapor barrier helps direct water coming from the walls down into the drainage system.
