These homeowners not only wanted their basement waterproofed, but they also wanted their basement finished with waterproof materials. New walls, floors, and insulation completely transformed the look of this basement, and will keep the basement bone dry and very well insulated. All of our materials used for this job are made of inorganic material so they won't grow mold or absorb moisture. After waterproofing with our interior perimeter subfloor drainage system, our dehumidification system, and our sump pump system, we then began finishing. We started the finishing by installing our Basement to Beautiful panels, which are made of graphite. The graphite material is impeccable at insulating and will help save the homeowners tons of money in energy costs. After the insulation panels were installed, we then installed our EverLast wall panels. These panels are known for their beauty and are easily washable if they ever get dirty. Lastly, we installed our ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring system in the shade of "pecan." These planks are almost indistinguishable from real wood and are very easy to install thanks to their modular design. They also have pegs on the bottom of them, so they sit up above your concrete floor. This way, there is a thermal break between the cold concrete and them. The pegs also allow water to drain underneath them if needed be. We topped off the finishing by doing some electric work and trimming the baseboards.
