Homes in Maysville, Kentucky are susceptible to water leaks because most homes are built near the river, where rain water is most likely to runoff too. For this home, water runoff was resulting in a high water table, and the water pressure had grown around their foundation. This was resulting in leaks and costly repairs to their finished basement. We fixed the problem by installing our interior perimeter waterproofing system including a TripleSafe sump pump and UltraSump 4 battery backup unit, our WaterGuard subfloor drains, and a discharge line. It is a simple system, yet extremely effective. The homeowner was very pleased with it.

SubFloor Drains

Our WaterGuard subfloor drains go underneath the floor and are completely concealed from the eye. Unfortunately, we do have to cut a little off the bottom of the drywall to be able to properly install them. They also come with a wall flange that helps collect leaks coming from the wall.

Discharge Line

The green outlet is flush with the yard and is very minimal. The white IceGuard outlets to the left of the gray utility box will allow water to still be discharged even if the line freezes underground in the Winter. We like to save the grass whenever we can when digging for lines, and that's why you can't even tell we dug here!

TripleSafe Sump Pump

This TripleSafe sump pump is equipped with an UltraSump 4 battery back up. The battery is attached to a third pump in the liner, that will turn on if the water level reaches a certain height. If the power goes off or the first two pumps fail, you will still be safe from water.
