Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water seeping into a basement of a 1940s home resolved in Cincinnati, OH

An owner of a home built in the 1940s noticed water seeping into the basement between the floor and the wall so they called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to find a resolution to this problem.  The homeowner met with Austin, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a TrenchDrain, a SuperSump Pump System with an UltraSump Battery Back-up System is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement.  WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system that is installed into the floor at the foundation wall.  The WaterGuard intercepts the water that is seeping into the basement and drains it into a sump pump system so that it can be pumped out of the basement.  The TrenchDrain works with the WaterGuard, but the TrenchDrain has a grated opening so that water can flow in from the top of the piping.  This allows water that seeps into the basement through a doorway to flow into the piping system and not across the floor. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System pumps water out of the basement.  The SuperSump is a high-end Zoeller 1/3 horsepower pump.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner and Airtight Lid with an Airtight Floor Drain.  The UltraSump Battery Back-up system comes with its own power pack and charging station and will automatically turn on to pump water out of the basement during a power failure.  Now that these products are installed, the homeowner can use the basement for storage or extra living space without having to worry about water intrusion.
