Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump and BrightWall Panels resolve water in Cincinnati, OH
A home in Cincinnati that was built in the 1970s has a poured foundation and has some cracks in the walls that have always leaked some water into the basement. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati and met with Chris, a Certified Inspector, to find a solution to this problem.
Chris recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Pump System, and BrightWall Paneling System is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a patented sub-floor piping system that is installed along the perimeter of the foundation walls. The WaterGuard piping intercepts the water that is seeping into the basement and drains it into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement.
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a 1/3 hp cast iron pump system and includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and Airtight Lid. The WaterWatch Alarm will sound an audible alarm to let the homeowner know when there is a pump or power failure. This gives the homeowner time to resolve the problems with the system before damage occurs. The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner that houses the pump and will not cave in or crack. The Airtight lid will keep objects from falling into the liner, keep out odors and insects, and quiets the pump.
The BrightWall Paneling System is plastic paneling that is permanently attached to the foundation walls. The BrightWall Panel is used to cover the walls and also drains any wall leaks down into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System. BrightWall Panels are a bright white color and really help to brighten up the basement while helping to keep the basement dry and free of water intrusion.
