Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, TrenchDrain, and SuperSump installed to resolve water in Cincinnati, OH
A house built in the 1940s with a poured foundation was experiencing water seeping in at the floor near the wall. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to find a solution to this problem.
We installed WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a TrenchDrain, and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System to resolve the water problems in the basement for the homeowner.
The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a sub-floor piping system that intercepts the water that is seeping into the basement. The WaterGuard drains the water into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement to keep it dry. The TrenchDrain can be added to the piping system, it has a grated top to allow water to seep in, the TrenchDrain is usually installed across doorways and hatches.
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller cast iron sump pump with a mechanical switch. The SuperSump can pump up to 2,650 gallons of water per hour out of the basement. It comes with a WaterWatch Alarm that will sound if there is a pump or power failure. The SuperLiner has 96 holes in it to allow water to flow in from under the floor to be pumped out of the basement also. The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner, and is strong enough to stand or store things on top of it.
