Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: CleanSpace Encapsulation System with SilverGlo installed in Harrison, OH

A Harrison, Ohio homeowner had a little moisture and some mold starting to form in the crawl space area of the 45-year-old home.  The homeowner wanted to make the crawl space an area that was nice and dry so that it can be used to store things.  The homeowner met with Mark, a Certified Inspector, who recommended the CleanSpace Encapsulation System with Drainage Matting and SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation. CleanSpace Drainage Matting is a plastic matting with dimples throughout it to provide a channel for water to flow out of the crawl space instead of being stuck under the liner.  The CleanSpace Liner is a 20-mil-thick plastic liner that is attached to the floor and walls of the crawl space.  The CleanSpace Liner provides a mold and vapor-proof barrier between the ground and the home.   SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation is a polystyrene foam insulation with graphite infused into it.  The graphite particles reflect heat back into the crawl space and make the floors in the living area warmer in the winter.   Now that the CleanSpace Encapsulation System is installed the homeowner will have a nice, clean, dry crawl space that can be used for storage.
