Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, WellDuct Window Well Drain and Ultra Sump installed in Mt. Orab, OH
A Mount Orab, Ohio homeowner was experiencing some water coming into the basement through the window wells and called The Basement Doctor to find a solution to this problem. The homeowner met with Roger, a Certified Inspector, who recommended WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, A WellDuct Window drain, and an UltraSump Battery Back-up System.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a sub-floor piping system used to intercept water that seeps into the basement. The water is drained into a sump pump system and is pumped out of the basement.
The WellDuct Window Well Drain is installed by drilling a hole through the foundation below the window. A strainer is placed on the outside of the window well. On the inside, the WellDuct is attached to the foundation wall. The water from the window well is drained into the WellDuct which is attached to the WaterGuard.
An UltraSump is a battery back up system. If there is a power outage the UltraSump will pump water out of the basement using battery power. It comes with its own battery and charging station.

The WellDuct Window Drain will keep the window well from flooding by directing the water down into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System.
