Humidity Levels
It's no secret that frogs and other animals love cool, humid basements. Look at the legs on this fella!
Old Leaking Basement
This is what the basement looked like before the work was done. Pooling water and cracking walls are no fun to deal with.
Bowing Block Wall
Block walls that bow in will often have a long horizontal crack near the frost line. This is because of all the hydrostatic pressure from expanding ice in the soil.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System
All three pumps of the TripleSafe System fit into this figure 8 shaped liner so it doesn't take up much space. One of the pumps is powered by a battery backup, so the pump will still discharge water even if it loses power.
Automatic Systems
The dehumidifier ties right into the sump pump, so you don't have to dump water from it every day. The dehumidifier also has preset humidity levels so it isn't running all the time. The sump pump comes with automatic switches so it knows when to start pumping. These automatic systems are energy efficient.
The PowerBraces System
Here you can see the PowerBraces are secured tightly against the walls and attached by brackets to the floor and floor joists. They go over the BrightWall panels, and may even be able to straighten out the walls over time.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System
The WaterGuard subfloor drains have been installed into the floor and only a small wall flange is exposed.
BrightWall Paneling System
The BrightWall Paneling System covers the walls, does not allow water to permeate into the basement, and will drain the wall leaks down into the WaterGuard. The bright white color really brightens up the basement.
