Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: BrightWall, WaterGuard and SuperSump w/ Ultra Sump Battery Back up to resolve water in Cincinnati, OH

A Cincinnati homeowner was having problems with water seeping into the basement at the seam and called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for a solution to this problem.  The homeowner met with Austin, a Certified Inspector who recommended that BrightWall Panels, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System with an UltraSump Battery Back-up system is installed to resolve this problem for the homeowner. The BrightWall Paneling System is 4x8 sheets of plastic paneling that is permanently attached to the foundation walls.  BrightWall Covers the walls and keeps the water from permeating into the basement draining any wall leaks down into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System. WaterGuard is our patented waterproofing system.  WaterGuard is a piping system that is installed under the floor.  This piping system intercepts the water that seeps into the basement and drains it into the sump pump system.   SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump that will pump reliably for many years.  The SuperSump can pump up to 2,650 gallons of water and 1/2 inch solids per hour out of the basement.  It comes with a WaterWatch Alarm that will sound if there is a power failure or a pump failure.  This alerts the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved.  The alarm will also sound if there is plumbing leaking into the basement.  The water will fill a special pocket on the Airtight Lid and will sound the alarm to alert the homeowner.  The water will flow down into the Airtight Floor Drain but cannot come back up into the basement.  The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps things from falling into the liner, and helps to quiet the pump.  The SuperLiner houses the pump, has 96 holes throughout the liner to allow water to flow in from under the floor, and will not cave in or crack.  The homeowner also had an UltraSump Battery Back-up Pump installed.  The UltraSump will start up to pump water out of the basement if there is a pump or power failure.  This pump comes with its own battery and charging station.   These products working together will give the homeowner peace of mind that the basement will be safe from water intrusion and will be able to use the basement for extra living space or storage.
