A home built in the 40s in Middletown was experiencing water seeping into the basement at the seam.  This home has a block foundation and there was no sump pump installed when the homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati.  The homeowner met with Mark, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, and an UltraSump Battery Back-up Sump Pumping System is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement.  WaterGuard is our patented waterproofing system that is installed along the perimeter of the foundation.  This system intercepts the water that is seeping into the basement and drains it into the sump pump system.   The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end cast iron pump system.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, a SuperLiner, and AirTight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm alerts the homeowner to a pump or power failure, giving the homeowner time to resolve the problem with the system before damage occurs.  The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner and the Airtight lid will keep water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner, and helps to quiet the pump.  These systems working together will give the homeowner a dry basement that they can use for storage, recreation or extra living space without worries of water intrusion.
