Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: BrightWall Panels, WaterGuard,SuperSump to resolve water in Cincinnati, OH
A Cincinnati homeowner was experiencing water seeping into the basement through cracks in the foundation. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati to find a solution to this problem. The homeowner met with Michael, a certified inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing system, a TrenchDrain, a SuperSump with UltraSump Battery Back-up System, and BrightWall Paneling System is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a non-clogging piping system designed to not sit in the sediment under the floor and to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement. The piping system collects the water and drains it out of the basement unseen by the homeowner. The TrenchDrain is a piping system with a grated top to allow water to drain in from the top to also be drained out of the basement.
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump. It also includes the WaterWatch Alarm that will sound an alarm if there is a pump or power failure. This will alert the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved. Also included is the SuperLiner that has holes throughout it to allow water to seep in from under the floor and will not cave in or crack. The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement.
The UltraSump Battery Back-up System will automatically turn on during a power failure and will run on battery power. It comes with its own battery and charging station. This gives the homeowner added protection of always having a pump available.
The BrightWall Paneling System is sheets of plastic paneling that not only cover the walls but drain wall leaks down into the WaterGuard to be drained out of the basement. These wall panels are durable and give the basement a semi-finished look.
WaterGuard and the other products that the homeowner had installed all working together will provide the homeowner with a basement that can be used for recreation or storage with no worries of water.
