Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Foundation cracks and water seeping into the basement resolved in Cincinnati, OH
A Cincinnati Ohio homeowner had some cracks in the foundation wall and was noticing some water seeping into the basement. The home was built in the 30s, has a block foundation and there had not been a sump pump installed. The homeowner met with Donny, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that PowerBrace System, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, and CleanSpace Wall System is installed to resolve these problems for the homeowner.
The PowerBrace System is steel I-beams secured tight against the wall with brackets attached to the floor joists and floors of the basement. The steel I-beams will immediately stabilize the foundation wall and are designed to be tightened over time to potentially resolve the wall failure.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system installed into the floor along the perimeter of the foundation to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement. The water is then drained into the sump pump to be pumped out of the basement.
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller Sump Pump System. A sump pump is used to pump water out of the basement.
CleanSpace Wall System is a plastic liner, similar to a pool liner. The bright white plastic really brightens up the basement, reflecting any available natural light, and gives the basement a clean look. The CleanSpace wall system is our most economical wall system that covers the walls and drains any wall leaks down into the WaterGuard system to be drained out of the basement.
All of these systems working together will provide the homeowner will a basement that is dry and able to be used for storage.
