Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard and SuperSump used to resolve water problems in Richmond, IN

A Richmond, Indiana homeowner was having problems with water seeping into the basement in several areas.  The home was built in the 1950s, has a block foundation, and a sump pump had not been installed in this basement.  The homeowner met with Roger, one of our Certified Inspectors, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is installed to resolve the problem that the homeowner was having. WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system installed in the floor around the perimeter of the foundation walls.  The piping system intercepts water that is seeping into the basement and drains it into the sump pump system.  The piping system is finished with a layer of cement so that the system is not very noticeable and can be finished over by following instructions from the inspector or foreman. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller sump pump system.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, the SuperLiner, and Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on.  This alerts the homeowner to an issue with the system to be resolved before damage occurs.  The SuperLiner has 96 holes in it to allow water to flow in from under the floor.  It is a heavy-duty liner that will not cave in or crack.  The Airtight lid keeps objects from falling into the liner, keeps out bugs and odors and quiets the pump.  With the WaterGuard intercepting the water and draining it into the sump pump system.  These walls can now be finished so that the homeowner will be able to use the basement without worries of water intrusion.
