Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System used to resolve water problems in 100-year old office building, In Cincinnati, OH

An over one-hundred-year-old commercial building was having problems with water seeping in on the floor.  They met with Roger, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is installed to resolve this problem. WaterGuard is a piping system that is installed into the floor along the foundation walls.  A Trench is dug out along the foundation walls and the piping is installed.  A layer of cement is placed on top leaving only a small wall flange exposed.  The piping system intercepts water that is seeping into the basement and drains it into the sump pump system.   The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end Zoeller cast iron pump.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, the SuperLiner, and Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound an alarm, similar to a smoke detector alarm, to alert the homeowner if the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on.  This gives the homeowner notice that there is an issue with the system to be resolved before damage occurs.  The SuperLiner has 96 holes in it to allow water to flow in from under the floor.  The airtight Lid will prevent objects from falling into the liner, keeps out bugs and odors and quiets the pump.   Now that the commercial building had the WaterGuard installed to intercept the water and the sump pump installed to pump that water out of the basement.  The building will be able to be used for office space and storage without worries of water intrusion.
