Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water leaking into a basement when it rains resolved with WaterGuard in Cincinnati, OH

A Cincinnati, Ohio homeowner was having problems with water seeping into the basement when it rains.  The homeowner met with Walt, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System along with a TrenchDrain, SuperSump Premier Sump Pump and an UltraSump Battery Back-up system is installed to resolve this problem that the homeowner was having in the basement. WaterGuard is a piping system installed in the floor along the foundation walls to intercept water that seeps into the basement.  The water is then drained to the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement.  The sump pump that Walt recommended for this case is the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump and the UltraSump Battery Back up System. The SuperSump is a high end 1/3 Zoeller Sump Pump System that includes the WaterWatch Alarm, the SuperLiner, and an Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if there is a problem with the system, such as a power failure or pump failure.  This alerts the homeowner to a problem to be resolved before damage can occur.  The SuperLiner is a rugged liner with holes throughout it to allow water to flow in from under the floor.  The Airtight Lid quiets the pump, keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, and has an airtight floor drain.  The UltraSump is a battery back up pump that will automatically turn on during times of pump or power failure and will run on battery power.  It comes with a maintenance free battery and charging station.
