Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Leaking Cracks resolved with WaterGuard, SuperSump and PowerBraces in Cincinnati, OH

A homeowner in Cincinnati had only been in their newly purchased home for about two weeks when they noticed that the carpet in the basement was getting soaked!  The basement has a block foundation and no sump pump had been installed yet.  The homeowner also noticed some cracks in the basement walls.  They called The Basement Doctor of Cincinnati for a solution to this problem.  They met with Roger, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, A SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System and UltraSump Battery Back-up Systems, and PowerBrace System is installed to resolve this problem.   WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is our patented piping system that is installed along the foundation walls to intercept water that is seeping into the basement.  The water is then drained into a drainage system, such as the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump to be drained out of the Basement.  The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is the best pump available and includes the WaterWatch Alarm, The SuperLiner, and the Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm sounds an alarm if the water reaches the point that the pump should have started or if there is a power failure.  The SuperLiner is a rugged polyethylene liner with 96 holes in it to allow water to flow in from under the floor.  It also features a "pump ring" that centers the pump in the liner.  The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into your basement, keeps things from falling into the liner, keeps out bugs and odors, and also quiets the pump. The UltraSump Battery Back-up System is a pump that will run on battery power if there is a pump or power failure.  It comes with its own battery and charging system.   PowerBrace System is used to stabilize the foundation and permanently protect against further movement.  The PowerBraces are steel I-beams that are secured tight against your basement wall with brackets anchored to your basement floor and floor joists.   Now that the WaterGuard is intercepting the water that is seeping into the basement and the SuperSump is draining it out of the basement the homeowner will be able to finish the basement without worries of water intrusion.
