Basement Waterproofing installation in West Chester, Ohio

Challenge

This rather large basement for a ranch styled home in West Chester had some issues with keeping water and moisture out. They had a really old sump pump, which did not have any type of drains connected to it. The customer wanted their basement dry for good, so we decided to help them out.

Solution

We installed a full perimeter interior waterproofing system equipped with WaterGuard and trench drains, which were connected to a TripleSafe and Super Sump sump pumps. Because this basement was so large, we reccomended two of our sump pumps. The TripleSafe sump pump equipped with a UltraSump 4 battery backup will do all the heavy lifting, while the Super Sump will kick in when it needs to in the opposite corner of the basement. The result left this big basement dry and safe for the homeowners.

Trench Drain was installed at the bottom of the stairwell.

WaterGuard was placed around the old sump pump.

TripleSafe in the back left corner. Important to note: the right wall didn't need WaterGuard because this wall was not a foundation wall and actually sits in the middle of the basement.
