Piqua, Ohio Basement Waterproofed
Challenge
This basement had a prior sump system but was still experiencing issues with moisture and water entering the basement. The homeowners expressed that they were interested in keeping the existing sump, but were looking to add further waterproofing measures. Luckily, our team was able to install several new waterproofing measures to improve their existing system.
Solution
First, we installed a WaterGuard, which will carry any water captured to the sump system to be pumped back outside. We also installed this drainage system with a WaterGuard Port, which will make accessing and performing maintenance on the drainage system easier.
We then installed a SuperSump, which is the finest sump available. This (along with the previously installed sump) will pump water out of the basement to be released through the Pop-Up drain outside.
Lastly, we installed an IceGuard. This will provide a second route for water to be drained out of the basement in the event that the discharge line clogs or freezes.
With these new waterproofing measures, the basement should be much more secure against water infiltration.
