Morrow, Ohio Basement Waterproofed

Challenge

This home in Morrow, Ohio was having issues with water infiltration in the basement. This pooling water was putting their basement fixtures at risk of water damage every time it rained. This was also increasing the risk of mold and mildew growing in their basement. We installed several of our finest waterproofing products in this home's basement in order to help protect their basement from issues related to water infiltration. 

Solution

First, we prepared an area for the WaterGuard and installed it around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard is designed to capture pooling water in the basement and drain it to the home's sump system to be pumped back outside. We also installed a WaterGuard Port - which will make it easy to access and service the WaterGuard drainage system. 

We also installed a TrenchDrain in the basement. This can capture larger amounts of water at once and was positioned at the main infiltration point for water. This will carry the water to the WaterGuard to be drained to the sump. 

The TripleSafe Sump was installed in this home along the WaterGuard. It is a highly efficient pump system - and contains 3 pump systems. It also has an airtight lid which prevents clogging and still allows you to stack items on top of the sump (preserving storage space). 

We installed a SaniDry Sedona in the basement. This is an excellent dehumidifying system and is the most powerful in the world for its size. 

Lastly, we installed an outdoor drainage system. Ordinarily, the discharge line would release through the Pop-Up drain, but in the event of freezing or clogging water will be released through the IceGuard. 

Through the combination of these measures, the family's basement should be protected from water damage, mold, mildew, and water infiltration.
