Did You Experience a Power Outage Last Weekend?

Sump pumps are primarily utilized during periods of heavy rainfall. What happens during heavy rainfalls? Power outages. If your waterproofing system doesn't have a back up plan for when the power goes out, you could be left in the dark with a wet basement. Read through this short article to learn why our UltraSump 4 battery backed system may be helpful for you.

The UltraSump 4 Isn't Just for Power Outages

The UltraSump 4 is a completely separate pump from the main pump. The UltraSump 4 sits above the main pump in the sump liner, and is ready to go at any moment. If the water in your liner reaches past the main pump and hits the switch on the UltraSump, the UltraSump will automatically turn on and alert the homeowner that the main pump has failed. Whether your main pump has lost power, has a mechanical fail, or has simply become too overwhelmed, the UltraSump 4 will be there to help.

Other UltraSump 4 Features:

  • Can discharge up to 12,000 gallons of water at a 10 foot head on a full battery, (the head refers to how high the discharge line needs to elevate to discharge the water).
  • Automatically charges itself when connected to power.
  • Has a TimeMachine data logger that can display up to ten years worth of diagnostics including pump cycles, battery status, relative humidity, and temperature.
  • Audible alarm to alert of main pump failure.
