Our Overall Service

From the first phone call to the last handshake, everything went smoothly and professionally. The only small complaint that I would have would be the two month waiting period before getting my encapsulation done. But in the end my house smells better and feels better. I can say that I love my house again.

Sales Process

Steve Purdon did a great job of explaining what needed to be done and why. I did a lot of research on crawl space encapsulation before deciding I should leave it up to professionals and Steve didn't try to sell me on anything above what was needed and certainly wasn't any high pressure sales tactics.

Our Installation Crew

Mike Pritt and the crew that was with him did an excellent job. My crawlspace wasn't going to be an easy task. There is very limited space and a whole lot of obstacles to work around. These guys did everything asked of them without one complaint. I know I personally would have been very aggravated working in tight spaces like that but they had a smile on their face every time they came out from underneath the house. They didn't leave a mess or anything for me to do afterwards. Mike did offer other suggestions for a door since my crawlspace opening isn't that typical. So most likely will be going with his suggestion and using The Basement Doctors again for that.

The Cleanup Process

Clean up was very good and my crawlspace is certainly cleaner than they found it!

What made you choose our company:

I chose The Basement Doctors because after a lot of research and having a couple companies come out to look at my crawlspace, The Basement Doctors was the only company willing to do the work that I felt that I needed. I live in Goshen, Ohio and this area is know for the ground holding water so my crawlspace had a lot of moisture from the soil and humidity from my vents. The only true way to fix it was encapsulation but other companies just wanted to put a small vapor barrier down and kill the mold that was on my sub floor without any guarantee that the mold wouldn't come back. That wasn't good enough for me. I know I made the right decision by going with The Basement Doctors.
