Pre-Finishing Basement Insulation Panels
These panels come with steel studs and built-in electrical wire channels. These two design aspects are very appreciated for whoever installs finished walls over them.
Waterproofing System and Walls Work Together
The Basement to Beautiful walls are only 2.5 inches thick, allowing us to tuck them into our WaterGuard subfloor drains. The walls will help drain water down to the drainage system, which is hooked up to a sump pump. There is also a trench drain under the door frame, which will catch water running down from the stair well.
SunHouse Window Well
These window wells work perfect for finished basements by providing a nice natural light source. They also protect the well from water.
Snowy Times
The snow on the ground was waiting to melt and cause more leaks in their basement. The cold weather also made the rest of the house very uncomfortable without insulation.
Basement to Beautiful Panels
These graphite infused panels will keep this basement very well insulated. The materials used in these panels are inorganic, so they can't grow mold or absorb moisture unlike fiberglass.
Wet Carpet and Cabinets
Unfortunately, these cabinets were going to have to be removed. Once wood absorbs water, it's almost impossible to save it from growing mold.
