This homeowner had a slightly bowed wall and an existing sump pump without a working drainage system. The sump pump was hooked up to drainage tile on the outside of the basement, which had clogged. They opted to keep the existing sump pump, but to have us install our subfloor drains from the inside of the basement to keep the basement dry. Our drainage will prevent clogging, and will relieve the foundation from water pressure. Water pressure had caused the walls to lean inward slightly, so we installed our CarbonArmor wall stabilization system as well. CarbonArmor is minimally invasive and thin, so we were able to throw our BrightWall panels over them. If the wall was more extremely bowed, we would have used our PowerBrace I-beams instead, which are thicker and would have to be installed in front of the BrightWall instead.

Carbon fiber is a very high tensile strength material that is almost impossible to stretch. Because it doesn't stretch, carbon fiber can be "glued" to concrete walls to keep them from bending or bowing inward.
