In order to keep water out of this homeowners basement, we installed our interior perimeter waterproofing system. In this system, our subfloor drains go all around the perimeter of the basement and are concealed underneath the floor. These drains are then hooked up to a sump pump system, which will discharge the water far away from the foundation of the home. This sump pump system was installed with a battery backup system, which will provide the sump with power in the event of a power outage.

WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System

Our WaterGuard subfloor drains are concealed under the floor and come with a wall flange to collect water. We need to be able to tuck the WaterGuard up against the foundation wall, so we tore out the wall 18 inches up from the floor. Of course, this part of the wall was damaged from water anyway, so the homeowner didn't mind it.
