Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing System Installed in Hamilton, Ohio

This partially finished basement had water seeping in at the floor. To resolve this problem for the homeowner, we installed our waterproofing system. We started by cutting out the drywall, about a foot up from the floor. This process allows us to make room for our WaterGuard and the drywall was already ruined from water damage anyway. We then dug out around the perimeter of the basement floor, and then installed our WaterGuard drains in the trenches. Lastly, we hooked up our TripleSafe sump pump system, which will dispel water away from the home. The result was a dry basement and a happy homeowner.

The fresh concrete you see was placed over the subfloor drains, making them concealed from the eye.

The WaterGuard has wall flanges that will catch any water coming from the walls.

Weeping Holes

After we dig the trenches, we then drill weeping holes in the walls below the floor. This invites water into our drainage system, relieving the basement walls of massive water pressure.
