The CleanSpace Drainage Matting is installed on the floor of the crawl.  The Drainage Matting has dimples in it to provide a channel for water to flow to the SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System.   The SmartSump will pump the water that seeps into the crawl space area out of the home.  The SmartSump includes a WaterWatch Alarm that sounds an alarm if there is a pump or power failure.  This gives the homeowner peace of mind that the pump is running properly.  Another nice feature of this pump is the Airtight Lid.  The Airtight Lid keeps out insects and odors and helps to quiet the pump.  If there would ever be a plumbing leak that gets into the crawl space, the water can flow into the Airtight Floor Drain and be pumped out fo the crawl space.  For more information on how these systems work, schedule an appointment with a Certified Inspector.  The estimates are free for homeowners.
